It's running, headlong. straight at me.
like a lion thats spotted it's prey... Both of us know it's going to happen. we both know I'm doomed... but politely, we say nothing yet. The story is still stalking me, slowly gaining through short grass. almost unnoticeable to the untrained eye.
It's biding it's time. sizing me up. watching how I walk and talk... picking apart information to know my reactions, my usual haunts, my state of mind.
